Year 6 - Spring 2023

We were very lucky to have Fr Dan in class with us this week.

In our unit this half term, we are looking at the question Why do Christians believe Good Friday is good?

Fr Dan helped us to understand Christians beliefs about suffering and that beliefs about the death and resurrection are a source of hope and comfort.

The children looked at the importance of Easter and explored the different ways that Christians celebrate Holy Week.

It was wonderful to hear what St Marks Church do to celebrate and to learn that many activities are available for the community to go along and get involved in.

We are looking forward to continuing our learning during this unit.
