Eurovision 2023

With the exciting news that the Eurovision 2023 will be held in Liverpool to host on behalf of Ukraine winning last year we just had to celebrate at Grange Valley To finish the first Summer term we had our our GV Eurovision Song Contest. Each class chose a country and learnt facts about it. They learnt and practiced a class performance to a song from that country. We held a whole school concert, after which classes could vote giving points to their favourites. We are so proud of all of the children performing in front of the whole school!

A big congratulations to Spain who were crowned the winners for their rendition of the Macarena during our official Eurovision Results linkup!

The whole school took part in a live link with others schools in Ukraine to take part in a mini euroconcert and learn about different songs and sounds of the UK and Ukraine.
