National Storytelling Week 2015

Have a look at some of the events that took place during the week below. We have lots more reading events coming up when we celebrate World Book Day later in the year.

• Mrs Threlkeld gave the children a challenge in assembly to begin National Storytelling Week. Children were encouraged to read books from a set genre between now and April. There are some great prizes on offer for champion readers across school!
• Mrs Holcroft and Mrs Threlkeld have also visited classes for a story time session to read children one of their favourite stories.
• Children in Y5 and Year 3 got together to share a book together. A child in Y3 paired up with a child in Year 5 and read stories to each other.
